HW due on 10/17: Download the data for your class and do the following: 1. Enter the data into L1 - L4. L1 and L2 should contain wingspan and height, L3 and L4 should contain forearm+hand and forearm. 2. Go to 2nd -> Y= to your Stat Plot and choose the graph that looks like a scatterplot. 3. Graph your data in L1 and L2 separately and sketch the scatterplot on separate paper with proper title, axes, and units (i.e. Wingspan v. Height) 4. Graph your data in L3 and L4 separately and sketch the scatterplot on separate paper with proper title, axes and units (i.e. Forearm+Hand v. Forearm) 5. Make sure that your calculator diagnostics are ON. Do this by going to the Catalog -> DiagnosticsOn and press enter. This will allow you to find the correlation coefficient (r). 6. Go to Stat -> Calc -> LinReg and find the linear regression equation for both plots, including the correlation coefficient (r). Write the equation under your scatterplot and sketch a line of best fit on your plots.
7. Describe each plot. Be sure to discuss SHAPE, TREND, STRENGTH, OUTLIERS, and CLUSTERS

Here are some possible resources to search:
Remember, you will be conducting a similar survey about whatever you choose, so be aware that many people will be reluctant to discuss certain topics, such as family income level, GPA, drug use, sexual orientation, etc. . . .
Your survey results or statistics MUST HAVE SOURCE INFORMATION! Look for a survey or statistic that discusses methodology or has the actual question used as part of the survey.
